Meet Nescau & Cacau – A Resilient Bonded Pair Looking for Their Furever Home! There are rescue cats, and then there are RESCUE cats. Nescau and Cacau, an inseparable brother-sister duo, have an incredible survival story. Found nearly frozen, unresponsive, and battling severe eye infections, these tiny fighters defied the odds. Sadly, their siblings didn’t make it, but with love, warmth, and dedicated veterinary care, Nescau and Cacau have made a remarkable recovery. Today, they are thriving, playful, and ready to find a home where they will be cherished forever. Nescau (Male) – The Lovable Mama’s Boy Nescau is the ultimate sweetheart—affectionate, social, and always by his foster mom’s side. Whether he’s curled up for snuggles or chasing a toy, he just wants to be close to his humans. If you’re looking for a kitten who will shower you with love and devotion, Nescau is your guy! Cacau (Female) – The Sassy, Independent Queen Cacau is as smart as she is spunky! She’s social and loves being near her people. Once she tires herself out from playing, she enjoys curling up on your lap for snuggles for long stretches. A playful adventurer, she loves chasing toys, pouncing on balls, and keeping everyone entertained. And if she wants something? She’ll let you know with an adorable meow!

Most of Dexter's Kitties are fixed, chipped, SNAP combo tested and vaccinated for their age. The adoption fee is $125 for a kitten, $200 for two kittens. If you rent your home, we respectfully ask for your landlord or management company's information to confirm pets are allowed. If you own your home, we will check public records to confirm.
If the cat is still on our website, that means the cat is still currently available. If you have questions, your inquiries will be given priority if you submit an application at www.DextersKitties.org . We are a volunteer team and try to respond as quickly as time allows.
And finally please remember that cats can live more than 20+ years, so this is a LIFE TIME commitment. Please make sure you have the financial resources to cover emergency vet bills if your cat gets sick, a stable home, and someone to take the cat(s) if something heaven forbid happens and you can no longer care for them.
